I remember years ago going into Alpha House Gallery in Sherborne, Dorset when Tony Birks ran the gallery just before a solo show of Homoky's opened. Tony was on the phone with red dots in hand and many pieces had sold or were in the process of being sold at what at the time seemed to me extremely high prices.

I guess people who were buying then aren't going to make their money back but.................
