Wendy Mason, Shrewsbury
I recently came across these pieces at auction. The large charger is marked Wendy Mason Shrewsbury 1992. The jug is just marked WM but very similar in style of décor. I have struggled to find any detailed information though have seen a charger similarly marked that is attributed to Wendy Mason, a Moorcroft designer. Does anyone know any more about these pieces?

Re: Wendy Mason, Shrewsbury
I can't see the signature on the plate, but could be Wendy Mason of Moorecroft, assuming she was working this end of the 20thC. It's a beautiful piece.
As for the jug, it doesnt appear from the photos to be of the same quality as the plate, so I think it's a student piece

The plate is one of mine- I worked for Wendy Mason in Shrewsbury in the late 1980s and 1990s. I was keen on painting hens and chickens and fish. All the pieces were signed by Wendy although there was a team of four of us working in the pottery in Coton Hill. Wendy was completely unconnected to Moorecroft. We were given free rein to paint what we liked on the pots and plates she threw.
