Scandinavian pottery - What should I read?
I would like to increase my knowledge of Scandinavian pottery. I'm particularly fond of the work of Tapio Wirkkala. I just sold a wonderful Winterreise coffee set he designed for Rosenthal. Also handling lots of Arabia. What are your top 5-10 picks for titles? If the book is one I should buy and have on hand for reference, as opposed to getting from interlibrary loan, pleas let me know by putting "buy" next to the title. Thank you!

Hi, just going to move this into the General Pottery Discussions group which is more suited for this sort of request

Re: Scandinavian pottery - What should I read?
It's a while since I used to deal in Scandinavian pottery and glass so there might be other books out there. However, the book I have used since it was published in 1989 is Scandinavia Ceramics & Glass in the Twentieth Century by Jennifer Hawkins Opie. It was published by the V&A Museum here in London, UK but you can pick up a copy in the States.
I still use it and did so earlier today so I would try and BUY, as it has images of items.
