Anyone recognise who might have made these two tiny vases?
Hi anyone know who might have made these tiny vases? My thoughts are the bottoms have been painted with a type of bronze paint?

Very nice
My first thought is Chinese, due to the quality of the glaze. But Continental due to the colour of the clay.
Not seeing any bronze on the base from the photos. Maybe a close up would help? Might be a metallic looking colour of the clay itself formed during whatever firing method they used?

When I see those deep bases I always think of Japanese pottery, I have also had some Japanese beer cups very recently with that dark clay. So more than possible that is a point of origin.

Might be Korean, especially if they have some age.

Hi guys, I initially did think Chinese, I will take some extra pictures if you look closely there is "paint" to the base which is flaking off to reveal a lighter clay, may help with your thoughts! 😍

Might be lacquer. Maybe they were gilded?

Done a little more digging and pretty sure these are Chinese, probably earlier 20thc Jun miniature vases. I have seen this glaze on larger pieces as well. E
