Re: AA mark - Martin Homer? Adrian Abberley?
I think it's Martin Homer's mark - Edited to say that I no longer believe the mark below is one of Martin Homer's

I don't know Martin Homer's work so can't comment on that suggestion but there was a potter working in London from the mid 1960s into the 1990s called Adrian Abberley, who might have made this.
He used a combination of thrown and hand-built techniques mainly in stoneware and, although I haven't seen anything exactly like this by him, I wouldn't rule him out as a possibility.

I have a piece or two of Adrian Abberley and I'm thinking probably not. DD posted a piece and the mark is slightly different IMO.

That mark is different but he used another mark without the l in front of the AA. However, it is only a suggestion rather me saying it with any certainty.

I know nothing of Martin Homer but this mark doesn't look like the 1970 - 80 mark attributed to him in BSPM, which might be incorrect of course. As he is around, I suppose he could be asked to confirm or not.

The mark you thought it might be was that of Warren Mackenzie's wife, Alix, and not his mark. The BSPM book is a little confusing on these marks.
