Please help ID these strange "vessels!" Empty Please help ID these strange "vessels!"

I recently found these two strange vessels. They are red clay or red glazed red stoneware. The larger is 9 1/2" tall, the smaller is 7 1.4". No markings except on the larger a paper label on the base says "M2."

They look a cross between Japanese and Hungarian folkware

At your suggestion I checked out every resource on both Japanese and Hungarian folk pottery...no luck...

Hi, James. It's best to just bump up the original thread rather than posting new ones. All ID queries are moved to the ID My Pottery forum; the other found are for identified items only, and repeat threads are deleted to avoid confusion and keep the information/replies in one place.
I'm sorry no one has been able to help. Maybe a more specialised US studio pottery collectors group would be able to help, such as the Studio Pottery Identificatiob group on Facebook.
