Strange tapered porcelain vase - Japanese sake bottle

Can anyone identify this blue and white glazed vase, the design is handpainted. I think it may be Scandinavian for some reason? There again it could be from a cheap Saki set sold in The Pier?? (or Pottery Barn in th USA). Size is approx 145mm tall by 132mm long and 52mm wide. White fine slipware. Anyone any clues please?

It certainly looks Scandinavian; Royal Copenhagen, but it would be marked if it was by them.

It's a bit like Arabia Valencia but the blue is a bit washed-out in comparison?

Is it deff slip-white earthenware not porcelain?

Mmm.. looks like pale stoneware to me, but no help with ID.

Hard to say but I'd err on the side of porcelain? Not particularly heavy, definitely not stoneware.

Can you shine a light through it?

When you shine a light it will glow through internally but not all the way through (both sides). I would reckon it is probably 2 to 2.5mm thick slip?

Arabia were doing something similar, eg their Valencia design.
