Is that Bristow linked to the Malta Bristow, as there were other Maltese BP pieces next to this piece in the sale?

Yes, Tony Bristow did move to Malta for a while, due to business incentives offered by the Government of Malta.
That said, I think production of "Bristow Pottery" continued in Malta after Tony Bristow moved back to the IoW.

Can anyone read this signature and identify it for me, please?
It stands about 14cm tall.
Thank you,

Re: Andrew Bristow, Bonchurch Pottery, Isle of Wight
Edited to say: Decoration is very similar to that of Tony Bristow, Chillington. Although the writing is similar to his son Andrew Bristow. Both potted at Bonchurch, albeit almost 10 years apart, so I think Andrew initially copied his father's style before finding his own. So I've left these Bonchurch pots on Andrew's thread but with the proviso that they may be by his father.

Again, thanks Naomi for the lead.
It's Andrew Bristow, Bonchurch Pottery, Isle of Wight.
An (almost) identical signature on another, similarly decorated pot

Interesting item by Andrew Bristow, Bonchurch Pottery
During April this year, my Brother and I were visiting the Isle of Wight. He called in to the Bonchurch Pottery and spoke Andrew Bristow. He was shown a very nice recently made vase which has a story behind it which he told to my Brother. The vase is now in New England where he lives.
In December last year there was a massive lands slip between Bonchurch and Luccomb, Pic 2, where many hectares of land slid over the Cretaceous Gault Clay, known locally as Blue Slipper. Along the shoreline large areas of freshly exposed Gault Clay were exposed. Andrew collected some fresh clay and experimented with it, processing it and making a small number of items. Andrew said the clay was idea for pottery. The Vase in the picture 1, was made from this Clay, and was purchased as the last item for sale except one which was awaiting firing. All these are unmarked.
The vase is about 150mm high and I thought it would be right to bring this to the attention of the Forum, even though there is only a small chance of anymore appearing on line.
