I've seen it before but don't recall it being IDed. I suspect it might be from Cyprus or Greece.

Might be worth a check up on the Aldermaston threads list of potters. Does not look like anything I have seen by Aldermaston but they do have an awful lot of connect people and I have seen many marks similar to that one with two letters (the first being A).

I'm fairly sure it's from Cyprus or near by. I've come across other pieces with the same clay and glaze and wiped foot from there.
