You are great Denby, well done. It’s 202, my mistake, and it’s a polka dot 1954-56 early slipware. Not always marked with Hornsea mark in that time perhaps. Thank you

Is Hornsea pottery as popular as it once was? One seems to especially see a lot of Contrast designs in Charity shops that are slow to move off the shelves.

One has to separate the tableware from the decorative/collectable items.
Contrast is in the V&A, won all the design awards, it was very popular,
and produced for many years. There's still a healthy replacement market for it.
The earlier tableware ranges, like Saffron, are getting old now, and craze terribly.

This range was called "Image" from 1980, basically the same range as
"Concept", but using Colin Rawson's new "terramic" body.

Thanks for that DD! You are a fount of knowledge! I can't find a single pic on the net of any other piece from that set. Was it a "not popular" pattern? Did it only run for a short period?

There is also a tall salt and pepper that all sat on a round plate.
65/66 suggests only a year maybe.
