Pot with Pencils, JF mark Empty Pot with Pencils, JF mark

The latest addition to my small collection of ceramic oddities is a nicely-made dark green-glazed stoneware pot containing two splendidly realistic stoneware pencils and one splendidly realistic stoneware pen, all fired together into a single disturbingly trompe l'oeil piece.  The seal looks like JAF.  Does anyone have any ideas?
