The vase above seems to fall into the latter period of production, as it's quite heavy...

This freedom leads us directly into the Third Period from around 1912 to the end of production in 1919.

This last period is marked by greater freedom of pattern, shape and colour. Many of Solon’s earlier designs have been dropped from production although standard shapes continue to be made. In addition we find more thrown rather than moulded pieces which are noticeably heavier and often squatter in shape.

Here's a Secessionist vase that's about 13cm tall. I think the letter N is impressed on the base (bottom pic at two o'clock)...

Here are two tiles.

This printed one was designed by Moyr Smith and is titled ‘Vivien’ from Tennyson’s series of poems Idylls of The King. It dates to 1875.




This one is from about 1897 with the Reg No being - as best as I can see - 3089131. I don't know who designed it...

The Reg No. has been taped over during the manufacturing process, but it has 3315, which I guess is a model number...
