An Italian clown? Empty An Italian clown?

Post by chrille April 7th 2016, 7:28 pm

I bought a nice clown a short while ago and haven´t found anything on the Internet yet to identify whom made it and where. The clothing style indicate a southern european tradition to me and the word Ciao in Italian seems to be under the glaze. Doesn´t seem to be any signature on it and it´s ca 62-65 cm in heigth and is made in majolika. Would be nice if someone can suggest a manufacturer. Yours Chrille
