It doesn't look like anything by him that I have been able to find and he appears to mark with a signature and date.
His work, at least for much of his career, seems to be earthenware and burnished. This is stoneware and glazed.

Apparently there's an area called The Bayle in Folkestone, and a couple of examples I've found online with the impressed mark are from sellers in that part of Kent.
