I honestly haven't a clue Brin , but neither do a lot of the bitossi club , it does seem like the word "italy " is written the same way on many italian wares , maybe there was a full time writer employed to do just that

The Bitossi I have seen has a much more jagged cut to the decoration with clay that is a bit darker/heavy than the one in the picture. If it is Bitossi I would guess its later on and bought in rather than made by them. The signature is typical for Italian ceramics of this period and often relates to the retailer not who made it. But I am not an expert and only have a limited knowledge of European mid century ceramics.

I think the shoulders on Brin's are more square and the neck shorter , but yes maybe a version , but that shape is quite common in pottery & glass.
