Re: Muggins Pottery
We used to sell giftware back in another life in the 70's. Used to sell these in large quantities. Is it really studio?

Re: Muggins Pottery
Depends on whether it's a group of throwers and separate decorators, or just potters. But I've moved the thread to the British Pottery group just in case

A selection of pieces. The tall tankard is dated 1979 and stands about 16cm tall. The small vessel with the frog eyes is dated Nov. 1973 and is about 8.5cm tall. The other two cups are from 1974...

Re: Muggins Pottery
The Pottery is based in Leicestershire near the village of Cotes.
Muggins website says the pots are thrown by Sean Keefe and modelled by Dan Moor (adding faces, legs, etc). They've been working there since the 1990s, but the website doesn't say who originally started the Pottery in the 70s.
I'll move it back to Studio Pottery but it falls between the two stools of studio and production ware
One of their marks
