The mc or ml maybe his initials and the surname may be covered....looks like a pub interior

He looks a 60s beatnik. The subject might be a poet or author , but I think the artist was an amateur. The value may be in the subject rather than in the artist. You'd need to submit it somewhere for further research, but other than the museums I don't know where.
