Jais Nielsen
Johannes Knud Ove Jais-Nielsen (1885-1961) was a painter and sculptor of some note who also played an important part in the development of Scandinavian ceramics during the 20th C. Influenced by Cubism and Futurism after a stay in Paris around 1911-14 he went on to develop his own distinctive style. During the period from 1914 to 1920 he worked in Copenhagen but his paintings and sculptures were not well received at the time. He turned his hand to ceramics and worked at Royal Copenhagen from 1920-28. Like many Danish potters he subsequently worked freelance producing designs for Royal Copenhagen and Saxbo. His ceramics are often sculptural in form and make use of biblical scenes and motifs. As well as producing ceramic sculptures many of his pots have carved relief like these three.
The largest of these (9.5 inches in height) was produced for Royal Copenhagen, Known as "The Temple Vase" it shows the four Evangelists, one on each side, with Jesus on the lid. In may ways this is typical of his work. The other two items were made at Saxbo, the jug shows a swimmer in relief (it could be a baptism scene), the other a head of a man/woman/angel.

Re: Jais Nielsen
Yes, molded. The potter would have made the original and then a mold taken from that - how the studio system worked in large Scandinavian Factories.
