We found this nice plate, we do not think we've found treasure but would just like to know where and by whom it was made, a when would be great too, 2016 is always possible!lol Thanks in advance and great to find such a forum as this!

Welcome aboard :)
Difficult to tell from the mark. Red stamps always make me think Japanese, as does the border pattern, but the Elephant motif with little ears implies India. Might be Oriental, for the Asian market?
