cross mark, Geoffrey Whiting at St Augustine?
Evening,
Anyone recognise this bowl, please? Thinly potted (for earthenware), textured surface. For some reason makes me want brandy snaps.
The cross within a circle fits a number of potters such as Colin Kellam and Taena but the closest I can find is Geoffrey Whiting at St Augustine's although the arms of the cross look thinner than the example in Yates-Owen & Groves.

I don't think it's any of the ones in the Marks book, but I can't suggest an alternative. Could it be French?

Taena is a good likeness but the arms seem much thinner on this bowl. Plus the Margaret Leach Taena cross seems to be inside a recessed circle.
