Yare Designs? - possibly William Owen, Colwyn Bay

I recently purchased several Yare Design Dragons and found this piece in the lot.

It looks similar to Yare pieces, but hasn't got the usual large eyes and the bottom isn't finished.

Any help with this would be appreciated.

It's not typical as you say, It could even be Briglin?

Crawford st. will hate me for sayng so, but I do have 2 Briglin hedgehogs
with similar holes undeneath.

That's quite interesting. I'm no expert, but they have a similar style don't they?

I picked up a tray of pieces (mainly Yare - which are now on ebay) but this dragon defeats me! In fact, I'm growing quite attached to it! I will need to do some research into Briglin - I think this is how enthusiasts are born!

I couldn't find any reference to Berglin ever producing dragons. Anyone know better?

DD that's like saying that it's got four wheels and it's red so it's a Ferrari. It looks to me like a Yare copy - Someone trying top make their own Yare but the overall modelling and detail is just not there. Look at the proportions, the arms, the feet? That tail?

I don't really think it is even trying to look like a Yare Dragon.
It's something else all together, but that was the best I could come up with.
