Stoneware vase I.D help - Kit Anderson?

Hello all

I bought this beautiful stoneware studio vase today and I am looking for a little help identifying the potter , approx 20cm's tall , very well made piece in the Chinese style , lovely glaze well cut around the foot.

The mark is peculiar and I am not sure how to describe it.

Any help would be appreciated.

If anyone has any idea's on how I would describe the mark for a google search it would be much appreciated.

I suspect it's Irish studio pottery and it's some sort of Celtic symbol

The last time I came across a clay like this with a pattern in the clay as if a comb had been pulled across it was on an item of the Friars Aylesford. No idea if it is linked but the gritty clay used is very similar. Could it be from that part of the world?
