Van Der Straeten, hands dove mark
May be a lucky find today I think. A 9cm tall tea bowl greenish glaze with incised trees and small red buds. It's a little chipped on the base but not too bad at all. It has incised Van Der Straeten and the date (1962?) which I have only just seen as I took photos...that was one thing I was going to ask!
I have found a couple of other pieces on line and I believe Van Der Straeten was the pottery...or the maker?
If anyone knows more and can help....

Another piece I had in my hand. Why didn't I buy it?
I really don't know, I've lost the plot!

Yes the Ruthanne Tudball and John Pollex I'd bought, clouded my judgement that day!

I see your point...I liked the moose anyway, let's face it, I've posted plenty of them! (metaphorically speaking)

Re: Van Der Straeten, hands dove mark
The only real information is that the pottery started in 1948 in Linton, Cambridgeshire and was in existence for a long time but little appears to have been written. I feel sure that I knew the first name of the potter once but it's gone. Van der Straeten is his surname.

Nice teabowl! Not a name I've come across before
