Bulbous Tenmoku Pot Decorated Flat Lid ID anyone?

10cm tall and about 12cm wide. I was wondering if anyone recognised this style, it's got distinctive decoration on the lid...looks like a creature to me, but I may just be seeing things in the ink blot!
It's a well made, beautiful pot and frustrating there's no mark.
Can anyone suggest somewhere to start please?

Looks like it has a seam across the base. Fosters Pottery maybe?
