Looks like it could match with the Shields Studio Pottery but that's in Ringwood???

Very poor website for Shields Studio Pottery. It's not clear exactly where they are based or who runs it; there's no contact address.

It seems to be in Abingdon; but more to the point it's the Shield [singular] Studio Pottery.

It doesn't quite feel like a potter's mark and I wonder if it was commissioned by HD Shields, rather than made by them.

I'm not convinced it's the same pottery. Wymeswold is in the Charnwood district of Leicestershire
