Mid century italian style dish
Hi all
I guess this is going to be a 20 second wonder for someone but I can't tell who made this dish. It's not my field. It looks to be in great condition front wise but the back looks like the leather has seen to many kitchen sinks over the years. I am guessing 60's Italian but that's only because I found some Fontoni items on line with similar figures. It's 16 inch's long (40cm)
Here are the pics anyway:
Thanks

A little bump to see if anyone who has not spotted the thread might know the maker?

I agree with Dan, San Marino looks the most likely option especially with the leather backing

I was trying to work out if the signature is the artist or the company that made it? The quality is very high that's why I am surprised its not an "instant oh yes it's by so & so". The mid century stuff I thought was very well documented.
