Hi all, I bought this mug on the Isle of Skye from a junk shop a few years back. I not a collector of studio pottery but have an interest in owls so I know nothing about the origins of this piece. I have looked for the studio by its mark but so far I have been unsuccessful. Any info on this piece will be gratefully received. Many thanks in advance,

We've had an owl jug like this before, with the same mark, and I also have a pot with the same mark but it hasn't been positively identified yet - hence the querstion mark in the title. It's not the same 'as' mark for Alexander Sharp as in the BSPM book or on the pots on this thread - https://www.20thcenturyforum.com/t17234-alexander-alex-sharp#134634 - but maybe he had another mark.
Closest I've found is Thomas Plowman
