Strange pottery figure? Empty Strange pottery figure?

Hi,

I have this figure that I can't find any information about. It has a look of Bitossi but the glazes are wrong and stylistically it's not close enough. There is something south american maybe about it. It have writing/marks but I can't read them. It may be a student piece but it's very well crafted. Thanks for looking.

I bought 2 similar pieces from a garden centre,they were made in England
