Dog with fly on tail
I know many factories produced this type of novelty figure from the '30s to the '60s but does anyone recognise this specific manufacturer? From what I can see metal flies were produced by German factories while the English factories tended to paint them on. The underside of one foot is stamped CH 400 and, by the look of it, this is made of porcelain rather than earthenware.

It's certainly Sylvac style but I'm not sure if they used porcelain and I have a feeling that they painted on the flies, as did Beswick. The number font looks Continental too.
