Australian Aboriginal Pottery ? Dingo Dog Vase Signed Y2 - ID Please

Hello i have this crudely but well potted Vase which to me looks to be of Aboriginal Australian origin, with Dog decoration and signature Y2 to the base.
Could tell me if this is indeed Australian and if anyone would possibly know who the maker is?

Not finding it on the Australian marks database under Y or Yarra... Might be one of the Bemboka potters
