International museum of ceramics

If you are anywhere near the Italian town of Faenza - its where the term 'faience' comes from - then the Int museum of ceramics is not to be missed. Its collection is absolutely stunning and covers every period and every country. There is a website at www.micfaenza.org which I haven't looked at but I hope will give a flavour. I loved the stunning art nouveau pieces and the art deco, lots of big studio pieces and modern works too so not rooted in the past. The Picasso's were big pieces donated personally.
