Sgraffito wax resist - Hannelore Meinhold-Morgan

Picked this up at a local jumble sale thinking it was Aldermaston pottery because of the wax resist and sgraffito decoration, but the decoration is too 'fussy' when one includes the splatter as well, and the monogram (dot over capital A) is wrong. Probably not one of their shapes either.
Any suggestions appreciated.

I don't recognise the makers name - hopefully someone out there will. It's very well made and sits really well on a very small foot.

I have one too! :) Never managed to ID it, but your mark is clearer than mine so I'll give it another go.
Btw, no, I don't think it's Scandinavian. Might be an ex-Aldermaston or Llangollen potter.

I think Aldermaston looks promising - Geoffrey Eastop or Jenny Jowett? or perhaps a Alan Caiger-Smith year mark.

I've sent the pictures to the Museum of Reading to see if they can offer any insights. They have a huge collection of Aldermaston there.

Since they're by the same potter I've merged the two threads

They are obviously from the same place but the shapes are slightly different and the signatures are too. That suggests a pottery with at least two potters rather than an individual - unless the marks are date related.

Help Please, I bought this on a whim because looked a great thing but having all sorts of difficulty finding the potter's mark - does this ring a bell with anybody???

Could it be a teabow?l ... is it possible to see the bowl on a table - looking down on it slightly, so that the overall shape can be seen?

Looks a bit celtic newlyn but outside is all wrong and so is the base, very finely potted, wafer thin and light as a feather..? But with a really really hard to decipher mark...

Just had a brainwave - could this be by Hannelore Meinhold-Morgan?? The style is incredibly similar and so is the mark.... I bet it is!

Nice design and the speckles remind me of egg shells.
