Deer - Rye Pottery?
I wondered if anyone could tell me if this small ornamental animal was made by the Rye Pottery. I've always assumed that the stars and spots are a signature design, but this has no marks at all. I've also assumed this is from the 1950s, but this is obviously a guess. Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: Deer - Rye Pottery?
Might be Rye, but could also be Llangollen Pottery or Cyprus or Italian or Portuguese. Would help to see a photo of the base, even if there's no mark

Re: Deer - Rye Pottery?
I haven't seen anything like it from any of the potteries in Rye but an image of the base would really help.

Re: Deer - Rye Pottery?
The eyes with the eyebrows remind me of some of the 60s-70s piggy banks that were produced in the U.K. back then

I think Italian, I'm sure I've seen similar decoration on those stylised cats.
