Superficially it looks like Phil Rogers' PR mark but I can't tell if the dot is there below the back-to-front P. Looking closer it looks more like RR, in which case it might be John Reeve or Rebecca Ann Richardson. Since you're in Canada it might be by someone local to you.

I thought of Phil Rogers and Rebecca Ann Richardson, however each time I found that the signature is a bit different...
