ID maker please

Please help me identify the maker of this piece of pottery. I know nothing about it. I am an estate liquidator. Thank you!

I don't think it's English or Japanese. A wild guess: Sanskrit, maybe?

I'm so sorry; I no so very little about pottery. My usual pottery expert in town doesn't recognize the stamp. My client wants me to sell this but I'm really not sure what it or how to search for its value.

Until you have an ID it's value is decorative purposes only. But there's no telling how long it'll take to ID it; it's not a style or mark I've seen before.

it looks fairly modern to me and nothing very special so I would expect the value to be low.... unless it belongs to a collection of high valued pottery?
