I picked up this little jug (? Deco) to day is only 12.5cm . A script mark which I cannot read , I think it could be German?
Any ideas?

terracotta clay, I might just lean towards French, but not really any idea.

Lindy I would have bought this also - it has prunts and an interesting base... dunno what it is either. My guess going by form is that is's continental - not a British shape IMO
