Help to ID Malteze type cross pottery Empty Help to ID Malteze type cross pottery

Hi guys n gurls, I picked up a few of these beakers today - I guess they may be Bristow due to the cross. But, aint there always one, why 1/2L ( I assume litre ) but they are made in England! But then the more I look it looks like a German iron cross which may explain the L.

Helps to see the base. If it's a grey stoneware then it points to a French manufacturer

Hi, here is a base photo, when I first  spied them I though French country pottery but then saw the made in england underneath -
