London Pottery
It seems odd that there seem to be no references to a 'London Pottery' that I can find. Nothing in Godden and only things online relate to a modern teapot producer called the London Pottery Company - the latter, from what I can tell, was established by David Birch who has worked at Poole and Fulham Potteries.
This lidded box seems to date from the 1920s - 1930s in terms of form, subject and typeface, and is very well produced.

Re: London Pottery
I have one too. Modern. I did find out my about it but didn't keep a note; seems it's mass produced items for the tourist trade.
