Vase with really unusual glaze Empty Vase with really unusual glaze

It looks like the glaze has had some chemical or compound sprinkled on it before it was fired. It has what looks like a mark on the base but it's impossible to tell.

Asian import, sold in department stores. The base is a dead giveaway
