Vase with impressed 'H' or castle/gatehouse - Caroline Smith?

Chunky terracotta vase, unglazed lower and blue glazed shoulder with repeated basic brown curved dash motif. Impressed H(?) inside a dome on wall. 17.5cm tall.

Agreed, it does look more like a dilapidated keep than an 'H'.

Caroline Smith's a really good match, thanks Naomi, particularly when they're both the same way up. There isn't a great deal about her, or Abbot Pottery, online and links to the pottery are all dead so, sadly, no way of verifying one way or another.

No, you're right, the marks are different. Found another and this isn't a partial mark - https://pin.it/7yo1cci  
Maybe Caroline Smith had an earlier mark or maybe it's a different potter entirely. I've moved it back to ID My pottery
