I suspect the written and inscribed names are the same but the potter ran out of room for the inscribed one. I've looked up Roll... Holl.. and Koll... in the studio pottery marks book but haven't found anything similar. Often when there's a written signature and a date it points to a foreign potter, such as Australia and the US where that is the common style of marking. In the U.K. the majority of potters use a stamp unless they're a student or hobby potter.
