Ultrasonic Baths Empty Ultrasonic Baths

I know they are mostly used for jewellery but has anyone tried cleaning spectacles or even ceramics in them - does anyone have one?

Can I do my small in one?

I'm thinking in 10 years you won't be using a drum washing machine.

We have one for cleaning fountain pens. Bought it from Maplins for about £40. Works fine. Only difference between the different ones is bath size - I doubt you'd fit more than a teabowl or pin dish in one that price - and whether it has a variable power knob or one speed or low/medium/high.

Just cold water. You can add various cleaners if you want

I don't think it would be a good idea to use one with ceramics, but glasses should be fine.

They advise not using therm for jewellery with gemstones, though I've one with stronger gems such as sapphires/diamonds, but I would certainly not use it on something like opals.
