Polygon Ceramic Vase or Bottle - No Mark
Here is another one of those 'mystery' pieces from the long stashed boxes in my closet. I have this royal blue glazed 12 Sided polygon pottery vase. The clay body is white and there are no markings on the piece. It stands about 7.75" high and is 5" across.
Always trying to find out information on my trove of treasure so if anyone out there has any pertinent info regarding this piece - age, maker, etc., I would as always be most obliged. Thanks again in advance

It's a lovely shape and glaze but without a mark it's going to be very difficult to find the potter. It may be a practice piece, because there are some glaze bubbles which the potter didn't remove before firing. And they failed to wipe all the glaze off the rim. It may be a one off.

Thank you for your response. I actually have come across some individuals on line who also have the same piece - and no idea to the maker. I thought it looked more like a production piece than a studio piece and now that I know there are others out there it is most likely a company I am looking for.

Spotted one signed McKenzie. The base and neck are a little different so I suspect they are by different potters using the same design.

I have seen very similar unmarked modular ceramics in the past. It was always assumed they were for medical, factory, schools use. Produced in quantity during the 60's-80's. But I have no firm names to throw behind that.
