Unidentified art on wood
Each piece is approx 3 in by 7 in and painted on thin wood possibly tree bark. Each is mounted or glued onto thick paper stock type paper folded in half. There are dates painted in all three. Top 1890, middle 1891 and I cannot make out bottom number. Signiture and or title is in pencil on the paper at bottom right and left of each. Any info greatly appreciated

Re: Unidentified art on wood

I think they are late 19thC or early 20thC, and mock-ups for an oblong-sized children's story book. The writing appears to be Czech or Hungarian. A lot of these books were printed in Germany (or Bavaria, as it was back then).
