Looks similar to BP but a definite SB. I think the mark is the wrong way round for Beresford.

Certainly looks like SB but not finding it so far. Maybe it's BS?

The black dots on the surface is reminiscent of French pottery

I bought it in Cornwall off a guy with one of the biggest collections of studio pottery I have ever seen. I bought a job lot off him as his other half had told him to get rid of some. It was among a group of Leach pieces I got. Although I know it's nothing to do with Leach.
