Salopian Art pottery (Shropshire)
Salopian Art pottery, Benthall, Nr Jackfield. 1882-c1912. (Goddens 1882-c1926).
Mainly 4 types of art pottery were produced:
Enamel and Slip painted wares.
Sgraffito carved pieces.
Majolica, with modelled fruits flowers and reptiles
Coloured glaze wares. similar to Linthorpe.
A slip decorated vase.
A majolica basket.

Very underrated. I have seen some stunning and very odd grotesques by them but have not yet owned anything. They are hard to find so uncertain how much made it down south.
