S Behlam ? Bowl - Strehla Keramik, Germany
Hello, I am new here, can anyone provide any information about this pottery please? It is about 35cm across and as far as I can make out, the first line of the stamp reads SBehlam, the second line CERAMIX, the third line possibly Hapert (town in Holland?). Is this a live or old pottery? is it a collector's piece?! Any info appreciated, thanks. https://i.servimg.com/u/f11/19/76/89/13/wp_20118.jpg

It's by Strehla Keramik, Germany. Here's an example of the company's mark -

It's not something I collect so I can't advise on collectability, but if you check completed listings on eBay you'll get an idea of value; taking a quick it seems that the 60s-70s abstract-style vases are more popular than this earlier style of dish.

Thanks for your quick response - I can see how my stamp matches yours, and what I thought was hapert is more than likely import. There is no mention of "handmade" on mine and it does look like its moulded, are you saying earlier because of the sequence of the model number? It looks like it is what I saw when I bought it - a striking sideboard piece of no particular value !

'Earlier' as in an older 30s-50s pattern style which has largely gone out of fashion now . But I don't know the date of manufacture.
