Thomas Buxo slipware, Spain & Holland
Found this strange shaped handmade vase, signed by "BUYK". I think it's a dutch piece and probably Studio.

You're right Ed, It is made by Thomas Buxo. He is a designer who lives in Amsterdam.

Buxo pottery but I'm not sure if it's Thomas Buxo, Dutch, or Jarron De Buxo, Spain. there seems to be some confusion between them on Google.

Confusion indeed: "Jarrón de Buxó" means "vase by Buxó" in Catalan.

I'm pretty sure its Buxo, Spain, but I've seen Thomas Buxo referred to as Dutch.

He's described in the link below as "a graphic designer of Catalan origin, now working in Amsterdam" who has also made ceramics:

I'm not, however, entirely convinced by this. There are some much more traditional patterns with a similar "Buxó" mark. Some sites say that the Buxó pottery is from Pals, on the Costa Brava, and/or give the potter's first name as Tomás, rather than Thomas.

Buixo Buxo? ID Help for Abstract Plate
Hello, I've been trying to research this piece but have ended up a bit confused. My plate seems to be signed "Buixo" but when I search online I find very similar pieces under "Buxo".
But even when I search Buxo and find similar pieces they all seem to have a different first name eg Ignacia or Thomas. Does anyone know of this artists work and if the extra "i" in the signature I have makes it a copy or something? Thank you.

Re: Thomas Buxo slipware, Spain & Holland
I think he was more of a designer than a potter so probably made and decorated by employees, hence the variation

Yes, it's Buxo. The square like shapes on the jug, and the colour pallet are typical of the work.
