Unmarked large Satsuma Jar, Chinese?
Here is a pot that I cannot identify.
Can anyone help?
It is 73cms high. I bought it because of the decoration. I usually collect works by Taizan Yohei lX and this artist or his school decorates a lot of his pots and I have several.
The quality of the work is very good and the modelling of the god excellent. At the best end if not the very finest
I think the decoration is following the work of the artist Kono Bairei, but may be corrected?
No marks at all .. Neither script or impress.
Any information I have

Hi Martin and welcome.
I will move this to ID my pottery where it will get more views.
A base pic always helps us, even if unmarked.
