Studio vase with NB mark, possibly French help with identification needed.
I am new to this forum and a recent collector of the arts, whether that be paintings, glass, pottery etc.
I purchased this stoneware vase [measuring 26cms high] and have been trying to correctly identify the stamp/mark which appears to be NB.
Being a novice i have much to learn and am hoping someone on this forum with more knowledge might be able to help me.
I would also be interested to know the technique the potter used to create this, what is to me, a stunning vase.
Many thanks in advance for any help!

That's a great vase. I dont recognise the mark; we had a similar NB mark awhile back on a piece of standard/domestic ware but it wasn't IDed at the time; maybe the same potter?

Thank you for your reply Naomi and for looking in the studio pottery marks book...!
I bought this vase from a gentleman who said he purchased it in France...so maybe not an English piece..?
I guess my search will go on...!
I have so many pieces of 'art' with, as yet, unidentified marks and signatures and therefore i will undoubtedly be posting again on this forum in my quest for knowledge...!
Many thanks again for your attention...much appreciated...!

We get quite a number of French, US, Canadian and Australian pots brought back from holiday or the potters coming over here on sabbatical. I found a nice big French plate only other day.
